Safely.
HUGS is a
community based
awareness
and prevention
program
designed to
train adults to protect
children against
sexual abuse and
exploitation.
HUGS
creates
community awareness for adults
to
attend the award
winning
Stewards of Children
program
which
teaches
7-Steps to
Protecting Our
Children.
Stewards of Children
programs are held in
community
centers, school libraries,
and public venues.
Each 2.5
hour workshop
provides
participants with
techniques,
workbook and
valuable community
resource guide.
For adult survivors,
we facilitate our
Breaking
The
Silence, Healing The
Wounds program.
This
program is a
collaborative
16-week group
workshop
that
teaches
overcoming
obstacles, restoration,
and
obtaining
fulfillment and
purpose.
Scholarships are
often available for program
participants through
sponsored donations. Donors
to
the scholarship fund
are contributing to
a unique
transformation that
comes from
participating in the
programs of Divine
Choices. As Divine Choices is a
registered
501(c)(3) public charitable
purpose non-
profit,
contributions to the
scholarship fund are
tax
deductible.

Scholarships
Divine
Choices
is focused on
raising awareness
through
the Reach
for Hope campaign.
One of the main
campaign objectives
is to raise
scholarship funds.
Many adult
survivors are able
to make external
change
but have difficulties
moving forward due to
feelings of
being
incomplete. Like the
butterfly emerging from
its
cocoon, the hope for
survivors is
transformation from
within.
Reach for awareness of
the impact of childhood
sexual abuse.
A child's
hope can be
protected by an
informed,
compassionate
adult. Reach to
learn, protect
and
prevent. Reach to stop
sexual abuse and
child
exploitation
within our
neighborhoods,
our
communities,
and around the
world.
