A few years ago, I had the pleasure of befriending an elder statesman, Dr. Costa Deir, who had traveled the world for over forty years helping hurting people.
I really enjoyed his company and when I would get him in my car, I would literally lock the doors, listen and ask questions.

In talking to him about leadership he made a statement that I never forgot! Dr. Deir said, “leadership is the ability to see above and beyond the majority, to see what others don’t see and take them to that destination". Although it has been many years now since Dr. Deir has passed away, his words still ring in my ears.

Today, Divine Choices has an awesome responsibility to reach out to a world of hurting people who are blinded by the cares of this life, and the pleasure, delight, glamour and deceitfulness of riches.

When asked by His disciples why He spoke to people in parables Jesus replied, “because having the power of seeing, they do not see; and having the power of hearing, they do not hear, nor do they grasp and understand.” (Matthew 13)
Although people have the power to see and hear: their views are limited because they suffer from broken hearts, rejection, loneliness and fear.

The experts tell us that none of us make decisions based on reality itself. We make decisions based on our perception of reality. When our hearts (core of our being) have been broken, we will always make decisions from a distorted perspective.

There are certain indisputable laws of life. If we consider our life to be somewhat like a garden in which we plant seeds, we know that whatever we plant will grow. We know that one seed, when planted, produces a harvest larger than itself. When we plant one, we reap many. Having said this what is growing in your life’s garden? Is that garden distorted from destructive associations of the past? Have you been wounded and just can’t seem to heal? Have you tried to get on with life and for some reason just can’t? Do you feel like you are forced to smile and pretend everything is okay?

We have discovered the emotional freedom that everyone wants but few experience. We have identified the number one source of suffering and want to share it with others. We have had our eyes open to the fact that the very universe wants us to succeed!

There are many doors opening unto us and we so desire to share these truths with others. We have come a long way since February 2007 and particularly since our first newsletter in September of 07.
We continue to lay the foundation with each passing day and are always ready to seize opportunities that will help project us to the next level. We believe the Sacred Writings in Philippians 3:14 where the Apostle Paul declares, “ I press on toward the goal to win the prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.”

In moving forward we need your help to bring this vision to fruition.

ON NOVEMBER 13, 2008 WE ARE HOSTING OUR FIRST ANNUAL FUNDRAISER EVENT
